About this book

Nancy McGovern has based her novel on her experiences in Mexico. She grew up near the state of Sonora, Mexico and received a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Arizona State University. She resides in southern Arizona where part of the time she lives in a favorite desert spot. A new novel and collection of her published poetry are in progress. SPIRIT ON THE WATER brings together human nature and the natural world in a story of loss, search, and rebirth in a setting that doesn't sit still for very long. Guitars and sea breezes accompany events that lead down sometimes precarious, sometimes happy roads. A few surprises are in store for the reader of this one, and if life gets bumpy at times, you just might want some good company....
