Young adult fiction. When 17-year old Mark's father passes away, Mark takes up the reponsibility of helping his mother and his younger siblings to continue to build their lives. The stroy is set in the Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania. Mark's father was a writer and had just bought land on Blueberry Mountain, near the family home. The story centers around Mark's goal to build a ski trail, as a way to support the family.
